Keri Simpson has been around horses for more than 35 years. She began riding Arabians while still in grade school, and acquired her very first show horse, Abby, a little Bask-bred mare. She rode competitively in Regions 12 and 15 during her Junior riding years, winning numerous ribbons and trophies in Western Horsemanship, Equitation, and Western Pleasure.
Keri is a graduate of Black Hawk College in Kewanee, IL, with dual degrees in Equestrian Sciences and Horse Science Technology. Since graduating, she has worked with many top trainers in multiple disciplines to expand her repertoire of training skills, to include Jumping, Dressage, Reining, Halter, Hunter Pleasure, and Competitive Trail Riding.
In 1994, using both her professional education and her many years of personal experience, she established Hidden Hollow Stables in Dunlap, IL. Keri now dedicates her time to passing along the knowledge she has gained to her customers, pleasure and competition riders and the horses they love.
